Did Ipsy start the New Year out right! There were amazing products in my bag this month and I am excited to share!
For anyone who doesn't know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that sends a makeup bag with five sample size or full size items in it. There are different themes every month. It is $10.00 per month, shipping included within that. Each bag is made with you in mind, as you take a beauty quiz beforehand so that they can send you products that you will enjoy the most. The items range from makeup, hair products, makeup brushes, nail polish, and so much more!
Let's take a look at this month!
The Bag:

I really enjoyed the bag this month. The colors were bright and cheery in such drab weather. It reminds me of a gym bag, which is appropriate due to all of the New Year's resolutions involving them gym!
Item One:

First are two sheet masks from BioRepublic. I've noticed that when masks come in they are both often counted as just one product. They are both formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Pthalates, and Triclosan. I personally enjoy this brand even more because they are 100% cruelty-free and the masks are biodegradable!
Each of these are valued at $4.99.
Item Two:

First, apologies for the picture quality, I'm still learning over here.
The second product is a full size velvet liquid lipstick from Hola Neon in the shade DF. It boasts that it is "Matte Long Lasting and Moisturizing." The packaging is amazing, shiny with a surprise emoji. It is in a mauve shade and feels creamy to the touch at first. It mattes fairly quickly and doesn't smudge when rubbed. From my initial experience with it, I would say that it does everything that the company claims.
Price of this product on their website: $17.00
Product Three:

The third item was the Punk Volumizer mascara from Doucce. The formula to this product is amazing and the jumbo brush does incredible things. It instantly lengthened my lashes and made them appear full. To top it off, this company does not test on animals! This is definitely on my list of future purchases!
Full size product price: $24.00
Sample size worth: $10.67
Product Four:

Next up is the Heavy Cream body butter from the company Cake Beauty. The product is just as heavenly as the name claims, smelling of warm vanilla cupcakes. It reminds me very much of one of the LipSmacker's lip glosses from back in the day! Although it does say heavy cream, don't let that deter you! The formula isn't heavy on the skin at all, absorbs quickly, and leaves no icky or sticky feeling! Two thumbs up to them for being vegan and cruelty-free!!!
Full size product price- $22.00
Sample size worth- $4.40
Product Five:

Last but not least, I received a full size Ciate London black eyeliner from their Fierce Flicks collection. It has a felt tip applicator. I have not tried this one simply because I really don't use black eyeliners and haven't had the opportunity to give this one a go.
Price on the website: $19.00
The total worth my bag this month was a staggering $61.05, with me paying a flat $10.00 for the entire bag and shipping.
If all things beauty are up your alley, definitely give this subscription a try! It's month to month and you can cancel at any given time! Below I will plug in my link straight to the page and help me get a few extra points ;)
I hope you enjoyed this post and will post again soon!
Have a lovely night,
Sarah
